At Roots Daycare, we recognize that each child is a unique individual who deserves encouragement and the opportunity to explore new ideas. We created a space that is warm and welcoming, which children and families can call “home away from home”. We believe that every child deserves to learn, explore, and ask questions in a loving and caring environment, and feel a sense of belonging within their own community by building personal relationships with peers and adults around them. 

We emphasize a well-rounded approach to early childhood development that promotes optimal educational outcomes while prioritizing each child's happiness and overall well-being. 

Roots Daycare will also promote children’s health and well-being by providing nutritious and healthy food cooked daily in our kitchen and based on Canada’s food guide. 

 

Extra-Curricular Activities  
 

At Roots we believe that extracurricular activities are one of the many ways that set our childcare center apart from many others. Our children exposed weekly to a variety of different learning environment such as Music and Movement, French, Russian, Puppet shows, Indoor/Outdoor Gym, different art medias and much more. 

The experienced and nurturing staff at Roots take the time to get to know each unique child and dedicate themselves to helping them discover their full potential academically, socially, and interpersonally.
